SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes allowed some late runs and fell at home to CSU San Marcos on Friday afternoon, 14-6.
The Yotes had made it 3-6 in the sixth when Shawn Porthan hit a two-run homer to left center. Kyle Csakan doubled as the Yotes had eight hits and left 10 on base. Carter Kimberly stole a base for CSUSB. Gabe Chavez and Csakan each had two hits.
The Coyotes (13-29, 10-27 CCAA) will travel to play the Cougars in a doubleheader tomorrow at 12 pm. Live stats are on CSUSBathletics.com.
