SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes carried their hot bats into Sunday morning, firing off three home runs in the 7-5 win over Sonoma State.

Garrett Ouellette doubled and Gabe Chavez singled to put the Yotes up 2-0 in the first.  Tyrus Lineberger launched a two-run shot in the fourth and Hunter Antillon did the same in the sixth to make it 6-0.  Richard Castro added a solo shot in the eighth to add some insurance.

"I really feel like I am getting my swing off and barreling up the ball," Castro said who had four home runs in the series.  "This win was huge to get us going and hopefully we can carry it into next weekend."

Tyler Williams was excellent on the mound for CSUSB, getting all but one out with nine strikeouts on the day.  Jacob Allen also doubled for the Yotes, who had nine hits, led by Lineberger with two.

The Coyotes (10-22, 7-20 CCAA) head to San Francisco State next weekend, with a game on Friday at 3 pm kicking it off.  Live links will be on CSUSBathletics.com.
