SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes fell to visiting CSU San Marcos on Thursday night, 61-72.
Jasmine Sauser led the team with 28 points, hitting 12-of-her-20 attempts. Kayla Bibb added nine points and 10 rebounds. The Yotes got to the line 33 times, making 24 of them.
The Yotes trailed by three after one, but by the 6:16 mark of the second quarter led 23-20 on a jumper from Sauser. That lead grew was big as five, but they trailed 26-28 at half. They tied the game twice in the third quarter but could not close the gap in the final quarter.
The Yotes (9-12, 8-9 CCAA) stay at home this weekend and face UC San Diego on Saturday at 1 pm. Live links are available on CSUSBathletics.com.
