SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSUSB Coyotes celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, but fell 52-65 to Stanislaus State at home.
The Coyotes never led, but Kayla Bibb scored 19 points and Courtney Coleman hit four threes. Bibb posted the double-double with 10 boards. The Yotes hit seven threes as a team.
The Yotes tied the game twice in the first quarter and after falling down by 15, got within six with three minutes left in the second quarter on a three from Tehya Burroughs. CSUSB was unable to get it under 10 in the fourth quarter.
The Coyotes (10-15, 9-12 CCAA) have one regular-season game remaining, at Cal Poly Pomona next Saturday at 5:30 pm. Live links will be on CSUSBathletics.com.
