ARCATA, Calif. – The Yotes made a late push to the finish, but just ran out of a time in a 66-69 loss at Humboldt State on Saturday night.

The Yotes trailed by eight late, and a layup from LeAundra Walker-Brown chipped it to two with just four seconds left, but CSUSB had to foul and couldn't get off another shot.  Jasmine Sauser led with 22 points and Kayla Bibb scored 13 with a team-high seven boards.  The Yotes made seven threes, with Sauser hitting four.  The stats were close but CSUSB was hurt by 18 turnovers that led to 23 points for the Jacks.

CSUSB led 22-17 after one, but trailed 35-37 at the half.  They trimmed one off in the third quarter, 51-52, leading by as much as five in that frame.  They Yotes were unable to get the lead back in the fourth quarter.  CSUSB (10-14, 9-11 CCAA) has one game next week, as they will celebrate Senior Day at 1 pm on Saturday against Stainlaus State.  Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
