CHICO, Calif. – The Yotes struggled through the second half on Thursday night at Chico State, falling 62-73. 

CSUSB led late in the first half, but trailed 32-34 at halftime and the lead slowly grew for Chico State in the second half.  Daytone Jennings led CSUSB with 18 points and Justice Green scored 11 points with 11 rebounds.  Andres Villa added 11 points and nine boards.  Chico State shot 48 percent in the second half and got to the line twice as many times as CSUSB did in the game.

The Yotes led by four with four minutes left in the first half, 28-24, but by the 15:53 mark of the second half, trailed 34-45.  They got it to nine with two minutes left in the game, but had to start fouling. As usual, CSUSB led on the glass, 46-35, and led points in the paint, 34-22.

The Coyotes (15-10, 11-8) will look to bring a win home on Saturday night at Humboldt State at 7:30 pm.
