SAN BERNARDINO – Natalie Day halted a 0-0 tie in the 97^th minute on Friday afternoon as she collected a turnover and struck a perfect ball in the upper slot for the game winner over visiting San Francisco State at Premier Field.
 
In a match that was largely defensive, the opportunistic goal was the difference was CSUSB led in shots, 5-3, on goal.  Sophia Cortez made three saves as she pitched the shutout with the Yotes' defense.
 
"It was extremely rewarding to score that goal, as we worked very hard this match and I believe deserved that result," Day said.
