SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The CSU San Bernardino Coyotes got a tough result on Friday afternoon at Premier Field, falling 3-0 to San Francisco State.
The Golden Gators scored in the 28th, 57th, and 76th minutes to claim the points. The Coyotes may have been shutout, but they created plenty of chances, firing seven shots total, with six of them coming on goal. SFSU by comparison only had five shots on frame.
Kelly Kevershan was in usual form on the attack, taking three shots on goal for the Yotes. She had one shot just six minutes in that was blocked. Gabby Evaristo had a good chance with a shot on goal in the 56th minute to tie the match, just before SFSU went up 2-0.
The Coyotes will look to bounce back and go back to even in CCAA play next Friday at home against Chico State at 12:30 pm. Live stats are available on csusbathletics.com.
