SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The Coyote women's soccer team scored a late goal, but could not bounce back from three Notre Dame de Namur goals as they fell 3-1 at Premier Field on Thursday afternoon.
The match was tied into the 61st minute, but NDNU scored there and twice more before the 84th minute.Â
Kelly Kevershan answered the final goal off the kickoff with a chip shot over the keeper's head setup by
Nora Perez for her second of the season.
The shots were even, with NDNU leading 12-11, and
Carly Luna made six saves for the Coyotes. Kevershan was knocking on the door all match and finished with four shots, all coming on frame.
