Kaitlyn Parks keyed the Coyotes, scoring 15 points in their 67-56 loss to visiting Stanislaus State in CCAA play Saturday night.
Tough start
CSUSB opened the first half with 12 turnovers and only four field goals, falling behind 25-13 with 5:34 remaining in the second quarter. The Coyotes righted themselves, outscoring the Warriors 11-0, thanks to six points from Parks and trailed 25-24 with 2:17 left. CSUSB never led and could not overcome its 21 turnovers for the game, even though Stanislaus State had 19 miscues of its own.
The record
CSUSB had its three-game winning streak end and takes a 9-12 overall record and 7-10 CCAA record into Friday's game at Cal State San Marcos.
