SAN FRANCISCO – The CSUSB Coyotes led at halftime but fell on the road on Thursday night at San Francisco State, 57-69.
Jasmine Sauser led with 15 points, going six-of-14 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds. Kayla Bibb and Arianna Knox added 11 points each. Bibb added five steals and Sauser had five assists. CSUSB led points in the paint 22-20.
The Coyotes trailed 19-14 after one quarter but took the lead at the 6:12 mark in the second quarter on a three from Courtney Coleman. Knox extended that lead to 10 with three minutes left in the half with a three. SFSU fought back and led 51-48 after three quarters and led by 10 late in the game.
The Coyotes (2-5, 1-2 CCAA) will play at Sonoma State on Saturday at 1 pm. Live links are available on csusbathletics.com.
