SAN BERNARDINO (Dec. 3, 2017) – CSUSB snapped its two-game losing streak, thanks to a fourth-quarter scoring flurry in the Coyotes' 80-65 victory over Chico State on Sunday at Coussoulis Arena.

CSUSB improved to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the CCAA with its season-high scoring output. Chico State fell to 3-4, 2-2.
The fourth
CSUSB, which led by as many as 12 in the first half, saw Chico State rally in the fourth. The Wildcats cut the lead to one on six occasions in the third, only to have the Coyotes go up 53-49 on
Rachel Cain's 3-pointer with 15 seconds to go. In the fourth, CSUSB outscored the Wildcats 27-16 – thanks to balanced scoring from
Susan Crebbin's team.
Ashley Carson scored seven of her 15 points in the quarter, with
Arianna Knox contributing six, and Cain and
Genaya Wilkinson with five apiece.
Leading the way
Kaitlyn Parks led the Coyotes with 16 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Knox had 14 on 6 of 14 shooting with 12 rebounds.
Way to go Genaya
Wilkinson also reached double figures in rebounds with 10 and a season-best five blocks.

Jordan Mottershaw came off the bench and delivered five points, a team-high six assists with three blocks in 29 minutes.

The Coyotes are off this week for finals and return to play Dec. 14 at Cal State LA.
