th in the final AVCA Top 25 Coaches poll announced Monday.

Kim Cherniss's program has been ranked in the final poll, and it is the Coyotes' highest finish since their No. 9 position in 2013.
The Coyotes, who were unranked for the final seven regular-season polls, finished 24-8 overall, won their seventh NCAA West Regional title in school history and reached the NCAA championship for the first time since the 2011 season.
Concordia-St. Paul (34-3), which won its ninth NCAA title in the last 11 years this past weekend in Pensacola, Fla., is ranked first, followed by NCAA runner-up Florida Southern, Southwest Minnesota State, Minnesota Duluth, Lewis, California Baptist, Western Washington, Regis, Nebraska-Kearney and Gannon.
CSUSB has appeared in the top 25 an amazing 232 times of a possible 248 polls — a 93.5-percent rate — since the beginning of the 2000 season.
