TURLOCK (November 15, 2017) — Ajon Efferson scored a team-high 19 points to lead six Coyote in double figures in their 96-91 loss to Stanislaus State in the CCAA opener for both teams.

The Coyotes fell to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the CCAA, while the Warriors improved to 3-0, 1-0.

Joining Efferson in double figures were: Jacardo Hawkins (16), Elijah Brown (13), T.A. Dixon (13), Justin Frazier (11) and Dorian Butler (10).

Stanislaus' Andy Cleaves put on a clinic, scoring 35 points on 11 of 16 shots. He hit seven 3-pointers with three rebounds in 33 minutes. His 35 points are the most by an opponent since Will Olsem of Sonoma State scored 38 on Jan. 21, 2012.
