PORTLAND, Ore. (Nov. 11, 2017) — Just one lead change took place in the Coyotes' game against Concordia-Portland on Saturday and it cost CSUSB.
Down the stretch
CSUSB led by seven (63-56) with 3:30 remaining in the game, but its shooting cooled off with seven missed shots down the stretch. CUP got its only lead of the game on a layup from Jarrett Gray with seven seconds left.
Had a chance
The Coyotes called timeout and needed to take the ball up full court with five seconds remaining. Junior
Ajon Efferson had a look from 17 feet, but his attempt hit the front iron and the Cavaliers had the victory.
Leading the way

Dorian Butler led the Coyotes (1-2) with 18 points and keyed four Coyotes in double figures.
Elijah Brown followed with 15,
Jacardo Hawkins 14 and Efferson 11.
Box score stat
CUP hit 58.3 percent from the field in the second half (14 of 24).
All-tourney team
Both Brown and Butler were named to the all-tourney team.
