CHICO (Oct. 15, 2017) — One minute into overtime brought Sunday's game to an end for the Coyotes in their CCAA contest against Chico State.

CSUSB takes its 7-7-1 overall and 5-4-1 CCAA slates into Sunday's road game at San Francisco State. Chico State improved to 8-4-1, 6-1-1.

Freshman Omari Mark gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead late in the first half when he controlled a 50-50 ball in the 40^th minute. He fired a shot at Chico State GK Damion Lewis, who made the save. The ball popped loose and the Coyote hit the mark for the tally; his second goal of the season.
 
In the second half
CSUSB had just two SOG in the second half; the first from Francisco Sierra in the 46^th minute. And then in the 70^th minute, freshman Kevin Aguilar's attempt from the close right wing.
