Ramon Eaton (10) also reached double figures for the Coyotes, who take a 6-6 overall record and 2-5 CCAA slate into Saturday night's game at No. 25 San Francisco State.
SSU (10-4, 6-2) hit 52.4 percent from the field and hit 14 of 16 free throws in the second half for its 10-point win.
It was a tough night of shooting against the nation's top defensive unit as CSUSB had more turnovers (20) than buckets (19).
The Seawolves held a 24-11 point edge in free throws.
Jackson Gion led SSU with 18 points. Jimmy Golden had 16.
