Paige Kang totaled three shots on goal, but host Sonoma State got the best of the Coyotes in a 2-0 win Sunday afternoon at Seawolf Field.
The Coyotes (1-5, 0-2 CCAA) return to Coyote Premier Field on Friday afternoon when they take on Cal State Monterey Bay.
SSU scored a goal in each half and improved to 4-1-1, 2-0.
CSUSB totaled five shots – four in the second half.
