SAN BERNARDINO (Feb. 27, 2016) – Senior Alexcia Mack led CSUSB with 17 points, and fellow seniors Chelsea Austin and Chelsea Barnes each scored 12 in the Coyotes' 64-59 loss to San Francisco State in CCAA play on Senior Night on Saturday.

The Coyotes (13-12, 10-10 CCAA) take the fifth seed into next week's CCAA Tournament when they face fourth-seed Stanislaus State in Turlock on Tuesday. Tipoff is 7 p.m.

SFSU (10-17, 7-13) shot 50 percent from the floor in the second half and rallied in the fourth quarter for the win. The Gators led for only four-plus minutes, but it was enough for the five-point win.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Felicia Villaruel and Lauryn Catching gave the Gators a 56-50 lead with 1:44 to go and they eventually led by eight in the final minute.

Tatsiana Dashkevich led the Gators with 22 points.

The Coyotes honored their seven seniors – Austin, Barnes, Sophie Bhasin, Adriana Brodie, Brianna Harden, Mack and Bisera Peshkova in a pregame ceremony.
