CLAREMONT (Dec. 10, 2016) — Junior guard
Nolan Kelly scored all 11 of his points in the final eight-plus minutes in CSUSB's 57-42 victory over Pomona-Pitzer in nonconference men's play Saturday night.
CSUSB, now 5-2 overall, concluded its nonconference season with the victory over the Sagehens, and resumes CCAA play Friday night at UC San Diego.
Kelly began his scoring spurt with a dunk that lifted the Coyotes 40-33 with 8:33 remaining. He added three 3-pointers, his last gave the Coyotes their largest lead of the night at 57-40 with 1:33 left.
Phil Reed joined Kelly in double digits with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
CSUSB outscored the Sagehens 24-6 on 3-pointers.
