TURLOCK (Nov 4, 2016) — UC San Diego scored the game's only goal in the 55
th minute of play and eliminated the Coyotes from the CCAA Soccer Tournament in a 1-0 game played Stanislaus State on Friday afternoon.
The Coyotes (10-6-1) now await to see if they are one of six teams to advance from the West Region into next week's NCAA Tournament. The announcement will be made Monday.
Justin Duerksen scored on a cross from 18 yards out to lift the Tritons, now 15-2-2.
CSUSB took five yellow cards and senior
Diego Casillas was handed a red card as the game came to a close.
