SEASIDE (Jan. 15, 2016) -- Desi Barmore scored a season-best 23 points and Zeke DeBlase added 17, but the Coyotes were dealt a 93-81 loss in CCAA men's basketball Friday night.

CSUSB (4-9 overall, 1-8 CCAA) completes the weekend at Cal State East Bay on Saturday night.

The Otters shot 59.3 percent from the floor (32 of 54) and led by as many as 15 points in the second half. Ryan Nitz led the Otters (6-8, 4-4) with 29 points and Alex Fertig had 19.

CSUMB held a decisive edge in the paint, outscoring the Coyotes 50-20.

DeBlase had five 3-pointers and six assists, and Juan Martinez scored 12 on four 3-pointers.
