SAN BERNARDINO (Sept 27, 2015) —
Luca Falcone scored a pair of goals in a matter of 50 seconds against visiting and 14th-ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills today, but the Toros tallied the equalizer in the 77th minute to secure a 2-2, double overtime draw against the Coyotes.

CSUSB moves to 3-3-2, 1-1-2 CCAA, while CSUDH now sits at 6-1-2, 2-0-2 CCAA.

Both the Coyotes (3-3-2, 1-1-2 CCAA) and Toros played physical from start to finish. CSUDH, however, edged CSUSB in shots, 23-17, and corner kick opportunities, 8-4. Toro keeper Chase Gentry had to make four saves while his counterpart, Mike Warn, made five during his 90 minutes on the field. Ivan Sanchez replaced Warn during the overtime periods and made two saves.

The Coyotes were aggressive on the attack at the early portion of the match, but it was the Toros that drew first blood of an intense match.  Mike Dias received a pass from Josh Robinson on the right side, dribbled to the box and easily beat Coyote keeper Mike Warn in the 15th minute.

The lead did not last long as CSUSB responded with two goals in 50 seconds, both by Luca Falcone. Diego Casillas connected to Falcone on the right side, where the shot beat the Toro keeper.

The second goal was a one-vs-one matchup between Falcone and Gentry. Falcone broke away from the Toro defense on the left side and slotted the ball by Gentry and into the right side of the goal.

CSUDH had to play shorthanded since the 37th minute when Pedro Velasquez was given his second yellow card.

The Toros caught a break in the 77th minute when Jaime Rios' shot from the deep left side was caught by a leaping Warn. But Warn couldn't keep the ball in his hands as he fell back and Robinson knocked the loose ball into the goal.

Tony Lo and Hieu Ngo paced the Coyotes with four shots apiece.

CSUSB, winless in its last three contests, heads to Turlock to face Stanislaus State on Oct. 9.
