Tony Lo was in the right place at the right time and the Sydney, Australia, native made Cal State San Marcos pay.
Lo received the ball deep in the CSUSM end and ripped a shot in the 93rd minute that lifted the Coyotes past the Cougars 2-1 in overtime in the CCAA opener for both teams.
CSUSB (3-2, 1-0 CCAA) completes the weekend Sunday night at UC San Diego. Start time is 7:30 p.m.
