Box Score SAN MARCOS (Sept. 18, 2015) -- Sophomore MF Tony Lo was in the right place at the right time and the Sydney, Australia, native made Cal State San Marcos pay.

Lo received the ball deep in the CSUSM end and ripped a shot in the 93rd minute that lifted the Coyotes past the Cougars 2-1 in overtime in the CCAA opener for both teams.

CSUSB (3-2, 1-0 CCAA) completes the weekend Sunday night at UC San Diego. Start time is 7:30 p.m.

A penalty kick in the 7th minute put the Cougars ahead for almost the entire game. But in the 80th minute, Chris Lavery found Luca Falcone, who hit a one-timer inside the left post from the top of the box and the game was tied at 1-1.

The Coyotes, who did not have a shot in the first half, finished with six for the game, five in the second half.

The teams combined for 25 fouls and seven yellows and one red card were assessed.

The Cougars dropped to 2-2-1, 0-1.
