Box Score FRESNO (Sept. 15, 2015) — Sophomore midfielder Tony Lo secured a goal in the 25^th minute of play, but the Coyotes were stopped in their tracks 3-1 at Fresno Pacific in nonconference men's soccer Tuesday night.
 
CSUSB (2-2 overall) begins CCAA play Friday afternoon at Cal State San Marcos. Kickoff is 3 p.m.
 
Fresno Pacific gained a 1-0 advantage in just the third minute of play, thanks to a goal from Renato Bustamante. Lo then answered on a feed from Chris Lavery that tied the score at 1-1.
 
But Bustamante made his presence known again when he scored eight minutes later and the Firebirds led at halftime 2-1.
 
FPU added the second half's only goal in the 48^th minute from Jorge Chedraui.
 
Ivan Sanchez earned the start in goal for the Coyotes. He had three saves and faced six shots.
 
Lavery led the Coyotes in shots with four and Lo with three.
