Box Score 2 SAN BERNARDINO (Sept. 12, 2015) -- No. 16 CSUSB capped an unbeaten weekend with two victories Saturday at its Coyote Classic.
CSUSB defeated Western New Mexico 3-1 and Fort Lewis College 3-0 to go 4-0 in its tourney matches. The Coyotes (7-1 overall) begin CCAA play Tuesday night against UC San Diego at Coussoulis Arena.

Leading the Coyotes was senior
Alexandra Torline, who ripped a season-high 22 kills on 51 attacks. She had a double-double with 11 digs as the Coyotes used 74 digs in the victory.
Both
Brenna McIntosh and
Ashley Solis had 10 kills apiece, and McIntosh added eight digs with seven block assists. Solis had seven digs and her team's only solo block.
CSUSB hit .299 against the Mustangs after hitting just .200 in the first set.
Coyotes 3, Fort Lewis 0It was Solis's turn to lead on the attack as she featured the Coyotes' efforts with 18 kills, hitting .457 with just two errors.
Senior
Kaitlyn Christner had 11 kills with nine digs, and McIntosh followed with 10. She also had one solo and two block assists.
McIntosh, who became CSUSB's all-time leading solo blocker, needs just six more blocks to become the school's overall block leader. The Yorba Linda native has 98 solos, 395 assists and with six more would surpass the record of 498, held by Kim Morohunfola.
Freshman
Jayann DeHoog had 42 assists with six digs.
Solis had 13 digs in the 25-13, 25-23, 25-19 victory over the Skyhawks.
