SAN BERNARDINO (Sept. 11, 2015) — For the second straight night the 16
th-ranked Coyotes controlled their opponent, this time against Concordia-Irvine in a 3-0 victory in continuing play at the Coyote Classic volleyball tournament on Friday.

Brenna McIntosh led the 5-1 Coyotes with nine kills, one block and four block assists, and fellow senior OH
Alexandra Torline followed with eight kills in the 25-13, 25-16, 25-22 victory over the Eagles.
The Coyotes hit .315 (36 kills, eight errors and 89 attacks) and allowed just four lead changes and 10 ties in the three-set match. Eleven Coyotes saw action.
Lauren Nicholson followed with seven kills and senior OH
Kaitlyn Christner had six.
CSUSB jumped out front with 11 kills in the first set and took advantage of eight Eagles' attack errors.
The Coyotes trailed 7-3 in the early going in the second set before finding their way, They rallied to tie it up three times until an Eagles attack error, a McIntosh kill and a service ace from Torline gave the Coyotes a 16-13 lead. Five attack errors by Concordia helped the Coyotes' cause with one arriving on a block assist from McIntosh and freshman setter
Jayann DeHoog.
CSUSB never trailed in the third set and were 17-of-23 on sideouts for the victory.
DeHoog led with 30 assists and Torline and Nicholson each had two service aces. Christner led CSUSB with nine digs.
The Coyotes play Western New Mexico at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and wrap up the tourney at 7:30 p.m. against Fort Lewis.
