Box Score 2 SAN BERNARDINO (April 24, 2015) -- CSUSB lost both games of Friday's doubleheader, losing 2-1 and 6-2 against visiting Cal State L.A. in CCAA baseball at Fiscalini Field.
The Coyotes (10-34, 8-27 CCAA) and the Golden Eagles (25-18, 20-15) conclude their weekend series at 2 p.m. in Los Angeles.
Game 1: CSULA 2, Coyotes 1The Coyotes mustered eight hits against CSULA's Icezack Flemming, but the Golden Eagles RHP threw a complete game with five strikeouts with the Coyotes' only run unearned.
The Golden Eagles led 2-0 until the Coyotes broke through with a run in the seventh.
Jose Hernandez hit a single up the middle that brought in
Trevor Williams, but that would be it for Coyotes' scoring.

Parks Smithey did his best to keep the Coyotes in the game. He threw 7 innings and gave up nine hits, and just two runs -- both earned. He had two strikeouts without a walk.
Aaron Owen and
Andrew Lopez each had two hits.
Game 2: CSULA 6, Coyotes 2The Golden Eagles scored five unanswered runs and the Coyotes could not get over the hump in the 7-inning game.
Both Coyotes' runs were scored on wild pitches --
Damion Edmonds in the first and
Andrew Lopez in the fifth.
Edmonds led the Coyotes offense with three hits. Lopez and
Dillon Fahr had the other two hits.
