Box Score CHICO (March 13, 2015) -- Dillon Fahr had two hits including a double, but the Coyotes totaled just four hits in their 8-0 loss to host Chico State in CCAA baseball Friday night.
The Wildcats raced to a 6-0 lead through three innings off Coyotes starter Kamden Haglund. They finished with eight hits.
Haglund had three strikeouts with two walks, but had four wild pitches in five innings.
Kevin Meriwether and Aaron Owen accounted for the Coyotes' other hits.
Chico starter Luke Barker had eight strikeouts in eight innings and allowed just three hits.
The Coyotes (4-18, 2-11 CCAA) and Wildcats (7-8, 6-6) resume their four-game weekend series at 12 p.m. Saturday with a doubleheader at Nettleton Stadium.
