Box Score 2 SAN BERNARDINO (Feb. 27, 2015) -- The Coyotes played a rare Friday doubleheader and were dealt a pair of losses, losing 10-5 and 13-2 to Cal State Monterey Bay in CCAA baseball.
The Coyotes (3-12, 1-5 CCAA), who have lost their last five games, are scheduled to face the Otters (10-4, 6-0) at 11 a.m. in a 9-inning and 7-inning doubleheader, weather permitting.
Game 1: Otters 10, Coyotes 5Yucaipa native Kevin Davidson keyed the Otters six-run six inning with a three-run home run to left.
Down 2-0, the Coyotes got on the board in the third on
Grant Buchanan's single up the middle that scored
Dylan Lohman, who walked. The Otters extended the lead with a run in the fifth and the Coyotes matched it in their half when Buchanan scored on an eror by the shortstop.
CSUMB sent 11 batters to the plate in the sixth on seven hits.

Kevin Meriwether,
Warren Fishback and
Aaron Owen all had two hits for the Coyotes, who totaled 11 for the game. Myles Hager had three hits for the Otters.

Tyler Sloan (0-3) had four strikeouts with four walks. Otters RHP Greg Steinbeck improved to 4-0 in six innings.

The Coyotes got one in the second -- on a groundout from Buchanan -- and scored their other run in the seventh when

Flores finished 2-for-4 with four RBI, while Bryan Bostjancic went 5-for-6 and Will Rosado had three hits.
Dillon Fahr, Buchanan, Fishback and Lohman accounted for the four Coyotes' hits.
Otters RHP Jeff Owen (2-1) had nine strikeouts and three walks in 6 2/3 innings.
Tyler Wells was dealt the loss in two innings.
