CHICO (Nov. 6, 2015) -- No. 17 CSUSB leads the CCAA in hitting percentage and in blocks and the Coyotes utilized both strenghts in their 3-1 win over Chico State on Friday night.
The Coyotes, who won their 11th straight match, improved to 22-3 overall and 15-2 in the CCAA heading into Saturday night's match at Stanislaus State.

Lauren Nicholson hit .452 with 15 kills and match-high 21 digs with two block assists and two service aces. Senior OH
Alexandra Torline led in kills with 19 in the 25-23, 21-25, 25-13, 25-17 victory.
The Coyotes fired off a .343 attack percentage with 18 block assists and dominated the Wildcats in their 41st straight victory over their foe, dating back to the 1996 season.
Both Torline and Nicholson had six kills apiece in the opene, and Nicholson fought through seven digs. The Coyotes hit .351 in the set, but needed their best for the win.
Down 23-18, the Coyotes scored seven straight points with Torline hitting three kills in the run.
The host Wildcats gained control from the get-go in the second to tie the set, but the Coyotes came right back with a dominant third set.
They hit .444 with four Coyotes earning multiple kills and led by Nicholson and Torline, who each had four.
Malika O'Brien had two block assists.
And in the fourth, O'Brien had five of her 11 kills, and Torline powered through with five of her own for the Coyotes' four-set win.
O'Brien had 11 kills and
Ashley Solis had 10.
Abbey Vollkommer joined Nicholson for the team lead in aces with two, and freshman setter
Jayann DeHoog had 54 assists.
Kaitlyn Christner and Solis reached double figures in digs with 10 and five Coyotes had multiple block assists, led by O'Brien's seven and Solis's four.
Chico State fell to 16-10, 8-8.
