SEASIDE (Oct. 25, 2015) — The Coyotes were dealt a 3-0 loss against Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday in CCAA women's soccer.

   
It was the fifth straight time the Coyotes were denied a goal and puts them 4-9-3 overall, 3-6-2 in the CCAA with two home matches remaining in the regular season.

The Otters (6-10-1, 3-7-1) pounced after a scoreless 45 minutes. Regan Porteous put CSUMB on top at 46:39 of the second half. Three minutes later, Kristin Womack scored her eighth goal of the season off an assist by Porteous at 49:26.

Courtney Gaardsmoe finished the scoring with a goal at 77:03 off an assist by Amanda Guerrero.

The Coyotes had 10 shots, four by Paige Kang, two by Megan Todd, two by Steffany DeLaTorre and one each by Gabby Evaristo and Cassidy Griego.

Otters goalkeeper Victoria Whyte made six saves. Megan Vina was in the nets for the Coyotes and saved four shots. 

The Coyotes return home against CCAA conference leader Sonoma State at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Coyote Premier Field.
