Sierra Van Meter made sure shot No. 15 was successful and No. 17 CSUSB went on and earned a 2-0 victory over the Urban Knights.

Three of those 14 first-half shots were on goal against AAU's Rachael Rempe and CSUSB dominated in its half of the field with a whopping 10 corner kicks in the first 45 minutes.
"We didn't score, but I was pleased with the ample opportunities we had off the corners in the first half,'' Clarke said. "We grinded it out today and that's a solid positive we'll take from our victory.''
The turning point came when the ball rolled through the box and cleared for a clean look for Van Meter, who took advantage with a one-timer.
CSUSB remained out front and utilized sound defensive play as the Urban Knights totaled only one shot in the second half.
Sophomore GK
Emily Whyte earned her first win and shutout in her career. She had two saves.
CSUSB finishes the weekend Saturday afternoon at Dominican University of California. Kickoff is 2:30 p.m.
