SAN BERNARDINO -- Steven Chagolla and Aaron Owen each had two RBI to lead the Coyotes in their 16-6 series finale loss to visiting Sonoma State on Sunday afternoon.

The Coyotes, who have lost 10 of their last 11 games, are now 9-25 overall and 7-17 in the CCAA. They are at Cal Poly Pomona on Thursday afternoon in a 3 p.m. start.

The Coyotes gave starter Matt LeVert a four-run second inning, but SSU came roaring back for the victory. The Seawolves (18-10, 16-4) scored four runs in the fourth, four runs in the seventh and five runs in the eighth.

Owen gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead in the second on a sacrifce fly to right that scored Brian Lockey, who led off with a single to short.

Bayless then followed with a double to right, and came around to score on Chagolla's two-run single to short.

Kevin Meriwether, William Oullette and Lockey each had two hits apiece.

SSU's Jackson Stogner had four RBI and was 3-for-5 with three runs scored.
