Box Score SAN FRANCISCO – Junior Aaron Owen became the 12th player in Coyotes history to have five hits in a game in Saturday's 12-11 14-inning loss to San Francisco State in CCAA baseball.

The Coyotes and Gators will complete their four-game series with a doubleheader Sunday. First pitch is 11 a.m.
CSUSB (3-12 overall, 3-7 CCAA) had 26 hits and six had at least three hits, but SFSU's senior Grady Espinoza hit an 0-1 pitch down the left-field line with one out for the game-winning run.

The Coyotes scored five runs on six hits in the second, led by Nolan Almodovar's two-run single to left center.
CSUSB led 9-5 before SFSU scored six runs on five hits in the fifth.

Nick Oddo and Owen had consecutive RBI in the eighth on a sac fly and a single, respectively.

That would be the end of the scoring until SFSU's Espinosa came thorugh in the 14th.

Junior RHP Matt LeVert was the hard-luck loser in the contest. He threw 6 1/3 innings of two-hit relief with three strikeouts.

Remington Miller went 4-for-8 on the day, while Trevor McMaster had two doubles, and Kevin Meriwether, Almodovar, Brian Lockey and William Ouellette had three hits.
