Box Score     After winning four non-conference matches, Cal State San Bernardino's men's soccer team is finding that winning in the California Collegiate Athletic Association has become a tough chore. 
    The Coyotes suffered their fourth loss without a victory in CCAA play Sunday, falling to Cal State L.A., 2-0, on a 100-degree day at Coyote Premier Field.
CSUSB is now 4-4 overall and 0-4 in the conference while the perennial contending Golden Eagles improved to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in the CCAA.
    Halil Tozar put Cal State L.A. on the board in the 23rd minute with a blast from 10 yards out off an assist by Jordan Payne as the Golden Eagles led 1-0 at halftime. In the 67th minute, the visitors tallied an insurance goal when Eduardo Almaraz hooked a free kick around a line of defenders just inside the far post for a 2-0 advantage.
    CSUSB finished with just four shots, all of them on goal, and each one stopped by Golden Eagles keeper Mike Beigarten. Ricardo Gonzalez had two saves in the net for the Coyotes and scrambled for loose balls in the penalty area. Larry Llamas, Tony Lo, Tyler Schoenfeld and Juan Carlos Gonzalez each had shots on goal for San Bernardino.
    The Coyotes will be on the road next weekend with matches at Sonoma State on Friday and at Humboldt State on Sunday.
