Box Score CHICO (Oct. 30, 2014) -- Cal State San Bernardino will enter the 2014 CCAA Tournament as the fifth seed after its 2-2 tie with host Chico State on Thursday night.
CSUSB (9-4-2, 5-4-2 CCAA) will play at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday at a to-be-determined time. Chico State closed its season at 8-6-3, 3-6-2.
The Coyotes were just 2 minutes and 9 seconds away from victory until the Wildcats' Carter Johnson scored the tying goal on a free kick.
CSUSB had two shots in the combined overtime, but did not get a shot on goal against Chico State.
Freshman
Debray Hollimon gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal in the 16th minute. He hit a one-hop smash into the far corner.
The Wildcats answered back 82 seconds later and the game was tied at halftime, 1-1.
Senior
Juan Carlos Gonzalez came through with a tremendous, unassisted goal in the 58th minute from about 24 yards.
Freshman
Tony Lo led CSUSB with four shots and three SOG. Hollimon and Gonzalez accounted for the other SOG.
