Robert Bechtel each had a shot on goal, but the Coyotes and BYU-Hawaii battled to a 0-0 tie in the season opener for both men's soccer teams Thursday afternoon.
The Coyotes mustered seven shots and withstood BYU-H's 13 shots, but it wasn't enough for the victory.

The Coyotes had seven corner kicks including two in the final OT, but could not solve the Seasiders' Chris Pineda.
