Box Score | SAN BERNARDINO – An all-round effort and determined play were keys for 20
th ranked Cal State San Bernardino, which kept momentum on its side in a 3-1 victory over No. 10 UC San Diego at Coussoulis Arena on Wednesday night.
The victory keeps the Coyotes unbeaten in the CCAA at 3-0 and 7-4 overall heading into Friday night's match at co-leader Chico State.
CSUSB won the 25-17, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22 match with a .280 attack percentage and held momentum throughout most of the match. Three different Coyotes had double digit in kills – sophomore OH

Brenna McIntosh again was a dominating figure on the block with four solos, three block assists and chipped in with eight kills.
The Coyotes ran off five consecutive points after trailing 1-0 in the opener. They had 16 kills with five blocks in the opener, capped by a .342 attack percentage to win 25-17.
The second set was much like the first with CSUSB having the advantage from the outset. The Coyotes never trailed in the set. Torline led CSUSB with five kills and a pair of service aces with Solis adding four kills in the 25-20 victory.
After intermission, UCSD got after it. Danielle Dahle led the Tritons with six kills in the set that featured 11 ties.
A Sophie Rowe kill gave the Tritons a 17-16 lead and gained a three-point lead after a pair of Coyote attack errors that included a Rowe block.
The Coyotes got to within a point of the lead twice, but UCSD pulled away late for the win.
CSUSB grabbed the lead for good at 5-3, but it would not be easy. An 11-6 lead was soon cut to just one on two occasions (11-10 and 13-12), before the Coyotes got rolling.
A kill from McIntosh and a block and a kill from Torline put the score at 16-12. Solis later threw down a kill that gave the Coyotes a 21-15 lead.
UCSD closed the gap to 24-22 on a kill from Rowe, but May ended the night with a kill for the game and match winner.
The Tritons (9-2, 1-2 CCAA) were led by Dahle's match-high 19 kills.
