ARCATA – The No. 16 Coyotes pushed their season-long winning streak to seven with an efficient play, culminating in a 3-0 win over host Humboldt State in CCAA play Thursday night.
CSUSB (10-4, 6-0 CCAA) secured a 25-21, 25-15, 30-28 victory with sophomore OH
Ashley Solis leading the way with 13 kills.

The opening set turned in favor of the Coyotes when senior S
Stephanie Sinohui's kill tied the set at 9-9.
With Sinohui serving, the Coyotes reeled off five straight points and led 14-9. Sinohui had two aces in that span and McIntosh had a kill and a block assist.
Solis proved to be the dominant player in the second set. She had seven of her 13 kills as CSUSB hit .300 in the set with 14 kills and two service aces from Newcombe.

Kim Cherniss was how her team finished the match in the third set.
Down 24-22, Solis threw down a pair of kills to tie the set. The set was tied three more times until
Kaitlyn Christner's kill gave the Coyotes a 29-29 lead and Newcombe and McIntosh teamed on a block for the match-winner.

Arielle McCullough had a match-high 21 digs and Liserra had 23 assists.
HSU dropped to 7-5, 2-3.
