TURLOCK -- Cal State Stanislaus scored seven unanswered runs and went on to earn a 9-6 victory over the Coyotes in CCAA softball Friday afternoon.
The Warriors went on to earn the sweep, winning 6-4 in the second game.

In the opener, junior
Alyssa Flores and senior
Felicia Cervantes each went 3-for-4, while senior
Courtney Wilhelms had two hits and two RBI and junior
Jamie Leffingwell added two RBI.
Wilhelms had the Coyotes' only extra-base hit -- an RBI double in the seventh.
Wilhelms took the loss for the Coyotes. She threw 3 2/3 innings, allowed seven runs -- six earned -- but gave up just two hits. She walked five, hit one batter and had a strikeout.
Game 2: Cal State Stanislaus 6, Coyotes 4 (Box score)
In the second game, CSUS posted a four-run second inning and that was enough for the win.

Alex Mitchell and freshman
Charlotte Galzote each had two hits. Galzote and junior
Britney Butler each had an RBI.
Carly Land (3-6) took the loss in 4 1/3 innings. She gave up four hits, four runs -- two earned -- and hit three batters and had a walk with a strikeout.
The Coyotes (8-15, 4-10 CCAA) have lost nine of their last 10 games. They'll look to snap that streak with a Saturday doubleheader.
