SAN BERNARDINO -- Junior
Britney Butler connected on a two-run home run over the left-field wall, but that was it for the Coyotes' offense as they were handed a 10-2 loss in 5 innings to Sonoma State in the final game of a CCAA doubleheader Monday.
Earlier, the Coyotes were dealt a 3-hit shutout, 7-0 loss to the Seawolves.
The Coyotes (13-20 overall and 9-15 CCAA) step outside of conference play Wednesday when they play at Cal State Dominguez Hills in a nonconference doubleheader. Please note the change as CSUSB was scheduled to play Tuesday.

Down 1-0, Butler gave the Coyotes their only lead of the day with a shot off Lipperd that also scored Galzote, who singled.
But SSU came back with a three-run second, a two-run fourth and a four-run fifth, courtesy of Megan Konieczka's grand slam.
Hayley Condon also homered for the Seawolves.
