Box Score: Chico State 3, Coyotes 1
SAN BERNARDINO -- It took just eight seconds for the Coyotes' opponent to set the tone in Friday's CCAA men's soccer game at Coyote Premier Field.
Chico State's Matt  Hurlow was on the receiving end of a pass from Jorge Cervantes and made the shot count as the Coyotes' could not recover in a 3-1 loss. The goal was the fastest ever scored in a CCAA game, according to the conference office statistics.
The Wildcats built the lead to 3-0 before Coyotes freshman 
Ricardo Velasco scored unassisted at the 73rd-minute to narrow the gap to two goals.
Scoring goals for Chico State (9-2-3 overall, 8-1-3 CCAA) were Akwafei Ajeakwa and Micah Miranda.
Coyotes' goal keeper 
Tanner Olinger gave up the two goals in the first half. He was replaced at halftime by freshman 
Jeff Salt, who allowed Miranda's goal in the 64th minute.
The Coyotes (4-3-7, 4-3-5) totaled 11 shots with five SOG with Velasco owning three SOGs.
The Coyotes will honor their two seniors Sunday when they take on Cal State Stanislaus in the home finale in 2012. They are Olinger and defender 
Martin Esqueda. Kickoff is 11:30 a.m.
