CARSON
-- A first-half goal was the difference maker for the Coyotes' men's soccer team, which was dealt a 1-0 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday night.

The Toros' Jordan Hatanaka fired in a loose ball from inside the box and scored on a feed from Miguel Vazquez.

CSUSB played well as it faced 11 total shots and four SOG, but couldn't find an answer on the offensive end.

The Coyotes totaled seven shots -- two from Ricardo Velasco -- and had two SOG, but failed to score against the Toros' Trey Mitchell.

CSUSB, now 4-2-6 overall and 4-2-4 in the CCAA, faces fellow CCAA South member Cal State L.A. on Sunday. Kickoff is 11:30 a.m.
