SAN BERNARDINO -- In a match that took just 59 minutes to complete, the Coyotes were too much to handle for Dominican in their 25-6, 25-9, 25-19 victory.
Senior
Priscilla Collings had 11 kills as CSUSB converted on 14 of 16 sideouts in the first two sets and let DU hold only one lead in the three-set match.

Collings was the only player who had more than two attack errors, but she still led the squad in kills and attacks and finished with a .500 mark on the match.

Krista Hasemeyer earned the start at setter and had 32 assists. Fourteen Coyotes saw action in at least one set.

Kelcie Tolan led in digs with nine and Hasemeyer and All-American
Samantha Middleborn each had two block assists.
Middleborn had six kills and sophomore
Danielle Newcombe had five.
DU had 23 attack errors and was -.080 on the attack.
Said Penguins coach Gayle Stammer afterward: “(The Coyotes) were monsters. I think we probably should have brought our [football] helmets.”
MATCH NOTES: The match between the Coyotes and the Penguins was their first meeting since the 1997 season. The Coyotes improved to 3-0 all-time.
