LOS ANGELES – National Player of the Year
Samantha Middleborn threw down 12 kills and totaled seven kills as No. 3 Cal State San Bernardino played its first road match of the year and walked away triumphant with a 3-0 win over Cal State L.A. in CCAA volleyball Friday night.
The Coyotes improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the CCAA and in the effort, captured their 50
th CCAA win in their last 52 matches dating to the 2008 season.
CSUSB won the 88-minute match 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.
Middleborn totaled a .529 attack percentage (12 kills-1 error-19 attacks). Fellow senior
Priscilla Collings had seven kills and
Morgan Carty and
Megan Johnson each had six. Junior All-American
Camille Smith had 30 assists.
CSUSB completes the weekend at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday.
