BELMONT --
Lee Nishanian delivered the game-winning shot on a header with just three minutes left in the game as the visiting Coyotes defeated Notre Dame de Namur 2-1 in men's soccer Tuesday.
The victory improved the Coyotes to 4-6 overall as they now prepare for two more road games this week beginning Friday at Cal State Stanislaus.
Marco Martinez put the Coyotes in position to score early when he had a free kick in the 43rd minute. Senior
Brett Faggioni placed a header off Martinez' shot and CSUSB had a 1-0 lead.
The Argos, who out-shot the Coyotes 23-5, tied the game on Cristobal Montes' goal in the 65th minute.
NDNU out-shot the Coyotes 12-2 in the second half, but Coyotes' All-American GK
Tanner Olinger came up big and finished with six saves on the day.
NDNU fell to 5-4 overall.
