TURLOCK -- The accolades continue for the No. 3-ranked Coyotes, who earned their 21st consecutive win with a 3-0 conquest over host Cal State Stanislaus in CCAA volleyball Friday night.
The Coyotes tied the school record for consecutive wins and consecutive wins to open a season with the 25-15, 26-24, 25-21 win over the Warriors (9-11, 5-11).

Samantha Middleborn was impressive yet again with five service aces and match-high 13 kills. Fellow senior MB
Megan Johnson threw down six block assists with seven kills, while senior libero
Kelcie Tolan had 16 digs. Senior

Morgan Carty each totaled five blocks.
The Coyotes fired a .298 attack percentage (40-12-94) as they utilized a 10-3 run to pull away from the Warriors in the opening set. With the score tied at 11-11, kills from Carty, Middleborn and junior
Camille Smith put the Coyotes in control.
The Warriors gave it their all and had the Coyotes on the ropes in the second set. Trailing 24-22, CSUSB used two attack errors and kills from Middleborn and Newcombe for the win.
In the final set, the Coyotes were aided with 11 attack errors from CSUS for the win.
CSUSB will go for a school-record 22 consecutive wins in Saturday's match at Chico State.
