SAN BERNARDINO
-- Michael Powell scored the game-winning goal with four seconds to lift visiting Humboldt State over Cal State San Bernardino 1-0 in men's CCAA soccer Sunday afternonon.

The Coyotes are 5-9-2 overall and 3-9-2 in the CCAA and will close out the regular season this weekend at home with games Friday against Cal Poly Pomona and Senior Day on Sunday against San Francisco State.

The game appeared to be heading into overtime, but Humboldt State earned a corner kick with the clock winding down. Powell was open and got the ball from Zach Hammond, then pounded the goal in with just four seconds remaining in the game.

The game was a heartbreaker as the Coyotes had their chances. Senior MF Brett Faggioni had two headers hit the post, but couldn't break through.

HSU improved to 4-11 overall and 4-10 in the CCAA.
