SAN BERNARDINO — Britney Butler and Courtney Wilhelms both hit home runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, in the second game of a doubleheader, as Cal State San Bernardino swept San Francisco State 10-7 and 8-7 Friday in a California Collegiate Athletic Association contest.
The Coyotes (9-14, 8-6 CCAA) grabbed their first doubleheader sweep since its first conference series of the year with Humboldt State. 
In the nightcap, CSUSB trailed 7-5 heading into the bottom of the sixth after the Gators scored three runs in the top half sixth. Alex Mitchell started the rally with a one-out double down the left field line before Butler bombed her sixth home run of the year to tie the game at 7-7. Wilhelms then stepped to the plate and delivered a two-run, game-winning home run to seal it. It was her first home run of the season.
The Coyotes took the first lead of the game with a double by Wilhelms followed by an RBI-single by Felicia Cervantes. San Francisco State took the lead at 4-2 with one in the second and three in the third.
CSUSB added one in the bottom of third and two in the fifth, on a two-run single by Pricilla Curiel, to take a 5-4 lead before SFSU's three-run sixth.
Erica Prentice (3-1) took the win, throwing the final 1.2 innings and allowing just two hits.
Butler went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored while Wilhelms went 2-for-2 with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs. Mitchell had a 2-for-2 day at the plate with a runs scored.
The Coyotes never trailed in the opening game after taking a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Four of those runs came off a Jacquelyn Holtzclaw grand slam.
SFSU tied the game in top of the fourth with five runs, but the Coyotes answered with four more runs in the bottom half of the inning to lead 9-5. Curiel drove in the first two runs with a single before Cervantes drove in the final two runs of the inning.
The Gators scored another run to make it 9-6, but a Mitchell double pushed the lead back to four at 10-6. SFSU scored one more run in the sixth, but that was the extent of its rally.
Brianne Godfredson (4-3) picked up the win after she tossed two innings, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out three. Holtzclaw went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and a run scored while Cervantes went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. 
The two will play another doubleheader, Saturday, at 11 a.m.
